Students in my classroom are diagnosed with Autism. They also require their education to be delivered in many different ways. We are learning not only academic subjects, but we are learning proper socialization, and functional skills. The projects that we create here on Donors Choose are focused on helping us be successful learners in the big world around us. We require different sensory input, as well as many different tools to help us learn what other children may have an easier time learning. Students in my classroom bring the best happiness to my heart as I see them become successful learners and grow as an individual. We have come so far in our classroom, and your help with our projects can only continue to bring us farther in the future. Students in this classroom range from 3rd grade to 5th grade and have all different levels and abilities.
