My students come from diverse backgrounds, languages, and learning environments. Currently, we have 33 students in a medium-sized classroom with one small table for optional work space. My students love working outside of their desks and really focus when they do so, however, there are really only two options: to fight over the small table or use the floor. By having options such as stools, bungee chairs, pillows, and a soft carpet, students will be more apt to focus on schoolwork. Flexible seating will allow our classroom environment to thrive and encourage students to be excited about their learning! These resources will make a small, cramped, and very old classroom be an accessible and outstanding learning environment for my at-risk learners! Thank you!
