My students are hard-working and inquisitive learners. They are enthusiastic and eager to new experiences. They love to get hands-on and use technology. I want to create a learning environment where students are able to collaborate and use critical thinking skills. I believe in student-centered and inquiry based learning. One of my goals is to create a makerspace to foster the students' creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Even though we are a high poverty school and many of the students do qualify for free and reduced lunch, this should not be a obstacle for providing them new learning opportunities and experiences.
