My students will not be involved in this training, but they will have an educator that is more trauma informed and better equipped to help them navigate these tough times. The pandemic has been so incredibly difficult on our children. As a special educator, it is my job to care for the whole child. More so now than ever that includes their social emotional development. Breathe For Change is a movement enhancing the health and well-being of educators, students, and entire communities. They offer the world’s only 200 and now 300 hour Digital Wellness, SEL and Yoga Teacher training DESIGNED FOR EDUCATORS and community leaders inspired to use wellness as a vehicle for healing and social change. Since 2015, they’ve certified 5,000+ educators, and impacted over 500,000 students. It is my hope that I will now be one of those educators who will impact the students of my district.
