These totes will help students take books from our classroom library to their homes to practice their reading. Reading at home is crucial to a growing reader and helping students fall in love with reading. Many students do not have the appropriate leveled books at home. Some do not have any books at all. Using these totes will allow them to bring books home that they can successfully read. This will increase their confidence and strengthen their love of reading in the home setting. It will also allow for more family engagement as they grow as readers.
