Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. I teach at an incredibly diverse school in the heart of the Bay Area. Despite being only a few miles away from places like Facebook and Oracle, our school faces many inequities in resources for our students. Our school has so much potential. We are a one high school town and we see students from all walks of life. I primarily teach English language learners and students who have dedicated themselves to pursuing college through the Puente Program. About half of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch and our school demographics are about half Hispanic, quarter white, and the rest is comprised of Asian, Polynesian, African American, Filipino, East Asian and so much more. I teach some of the students with the highest needs as I work with students new to country and who are learning English for the first time. We are a school with much to be proud of and much to hope for.
