Our school implements the Daily Five reading strategy. Our students have an opportunity to read to them self or someone else everyday. These books will not only facilitate a lifetime love of reading, but also encourage them to explore new book genres. My classroom may be the only place that my students are able to access these types of books. Most of them do not make routine trips to the library or local bookstores. I want to ignite a passion for reading in my students. Having these materials will help me accomplish my goal. Thank you for your consideration and support.
