They are part of an integrated co-teaching classroom (ICT) which means that some are special education students, others English as a second language students, and others general educations students. The weekly exposure to computers barely allows them to acquire basic typing skills and to conduct simple searches on the Internet. They will not be prepared for a technologically driven world nor will they meet the Common Core Standards of college and career readiness.
