My name is Telina Bates. I am a third grade teacher in an urban elementary school in Jefferson County, Alabama. I teach in a self-contained classroom and currently have 19 students. Just as this picture shows, my classroom and students are bright and valiant. They deserve opportunities to learn together and grow. Teachers understand that we have to seek out ways to help each student feel and be successful. Unfortunately, these ways are not always cheap and the materials we need are not always there. I would like to personally thank each of my donors in advance for the help you will provide me, so I can continue to help my students be successful.
