Due to the Coronavirus, school is going to be difficult in many ways. One of the challenges I will be faced with is effectively conferencing with students in a personal way. Providing students with individualized feedback is essential to educational success. It is common practice for me to conference with students, providing feedback on their note taking, class work, and homework. It is also during this time that I review learning strategies and content if the student is struggling. After conferencing, students are able to work on personalized goals that are tailored to their specific needs. Students are most often better able to show progress throughout the year. This shield will allow me to conference with students in a way that will keep the student and teacher safe.
