The Osmo is an Award-winning, hands-on game system that fosters creativity and problem solving skills. The Osmo works directly with an iPad. Students will be using the Osmo in literacy, math, and science stations. The Osmos will allow for differentiation within the classroom and provide rigorous activities through the use of technology. Each student will have the opportunity to play an interactive game which results in fun learning. In literacy, the students will race to get the letter on screen first, play educational trivia games, as well as learn important geography. In math, the students will manipulate numbers in order to build their number sense which helps with fluency. They will also use wooden shapes to solve the tangram on screen. The tangrams range from animals, objects, humans, and more. In science, the students will use the Osmo to assist with problem solving skills.
