My students are ready to learn about the world of art! They are eager to learn about drawing, painting, and sculpture. However, many students do not have the economic means to fund their own projects and are only able to experience the limitless bounds of art through the supplies available to them at school. It is my goal to give the art classes I teach as many experiences in the art world as possible including sculpture, which many students have never even attempted. Though we do not have a kiln, air dry and polymer clay projects provide the perfect opportunity to expose students to sculpting techniques and processes. Paper and canvases are an endless necessity to the art classroom and each student's expressive abilities. I want to provide these students with a boundless artworld experience.
