I am a 2nd year Special Education teacher. I have been able to locate most of the items in my classroom by utilizing places like the Dollar Store, Walmart, thrift stores, and friends. There are several items that I really need for my class that need to be purchased new. These items will help me run my classroom more efficiently. I can use the scanner/printer and laminator to produce items the students can use in the classroom and enable me to send their work and progress electronically. The bean bag will offer a down-time or break time option for my students that require frequent work breaks or changes in routines. The organizational items are for me to better organize self-contained work files for each student.
