Having had these students in class before, I am aware of their energy levels and need for movement and activity. I learned to raise desks to allow the choice of sitting or standing. I even placed tape on the floor allowing movement within their personal space while working. I am looking for assistance in giving these students the opportunity to sit in a traditional school setting with success. This will require some tools and resources beyond what has already been implemented. I know they have great minds! They simply need help learning how to be successful in their upcoming years of school where sitting in a traditional classroom will be imperative. My wish for my students is funding for 15 Gymnic Disk'O'Sit Inflatable Seat Cushions. These allow for wiggles while working quietly at their seats, and are textured to satisfy their sensory appetites. These are great resources to assist active students while working hard at their studies.
