I teach at a Title I school that is in the beginning stages of implementing a STEM program. My classroom is very limited on space and contains computers all around the classroom with working tables in the middle. The chairs take too much space in the classroom and prevents my engineering students from being able to move around when working on hands on projects and building robots. It is extremely important that the students have room to move around and sit comfortably. It is very important for students to be comfortable when working on projects, so that they can give 100%. I am very passionate about implementing the STEM program and my school and even with limited space, the stools can make a difference. If I am able to purchase 24 stools for my classroom, it will help save space and create a more spacious, comfortable environment for my students.
