I teach in three inclusion classrooms (grades K-2) and one resource classroom with a total of 16 diverse learners. My students are loving, eager to learn and in need of an environment that is easy to navigate with tools that are captivating and accessible. Most of my students are English Language Learners. My diverse learners receive a variety of specialized services and supports including: speech, occupational, and/or physical therapy, and/or supports from a social worker. It is my goal to make the social, academic, and English learning process as smooth as possible for them. When co-teaching, my instructional tools and activities may service the whole classroom during a rotation of small groups. My students come from predominantly low-income households, but together, are rich in ethnic, cultural and language backgrounds. Altogether, we come to school to learn, to be challenged, and to grow.
