These resources will benefit my students in a number of ways. Wobble Chairs and Bouncy Bands will allow my students the ability to move and wiggle while they work without being disruptive. Their little bodies still need lots of activity and sitting still is just hard for some kids. Some students need sensory input beyond what's available in a standard classroom environment. These tools may improve the child’s ability to focus by stimulating their sense of touch and meeting their kinesthetic needs without distracting the child or others. The Wobble Chairs will provide alternative seating to the standard classroom chair that some children find uncomfortable and, therefore, distracting. The Bouncy Bands will allow students who like traditional seating to still receive the sensory input and movement they crave.
