My students are a fine, intelligent group of eight and nine years who have a whole world to discover. They come from a school district, like many, that is working through these difficult economic times, but these students are oblivious to the uphill battle because they continue to want to learn. They are imaginative and intuitive and can't wait to tell you what happened to them the night before. They are excited to learn and just need their teacher to give them a variety of opportunities to do so.
