I teach an inquisitive group of 6th graders. They are eager to learn but our classroom is lacking certain resources that would encourage and engage their thinking. I teach in a low income/ high poverty neighborhood. Our school is a Title 1 school where 99% are on free or reduced lunch. Due to many budget cuts, additional resources are just not available to provide to our students.
