This easel will allow me to actively engage my kindergarten students by allowing me to sit with them on the carpet, yet still be able to show them what I need to on the white board. We will use the easel in daily whole group lessons for reading, math, and writing. This easel will also be able to be used in a self-led literacy or math station. Students will be able to use the writing lines to practice writing letters, numbers, and sentences. It is also magnetic, allowing them to use magnets to make words. We will also be able to use big picture books during read alouds. Students will benefit from this easel.

About my class
