With your help, I will create 10 breakout boxes for my high school classes. Each box will contain 6 different locks. Students will be divided up into groups and given various math problems and clues to unlock the different locks. They will work together to open the box to reveal the prizes. They will use many "spy" tools like puzzles and black lights to reveal secret codes. Students LOVE solving mysteries and this project will have teenagers begging to work math problems! I will use the boxes at least 6 times each semester as a fun way to review before each test! I know my students will look forward to the days we BREAK INTO MATH!
