Having risers will allow all of my students to be seen during our many musical performances! In the past, parents have commented that while the concert or music was great, they couldn't see their child's face when they were singing because all of the students were standing at the same level. Every child's face should be seen when they are sharing their joy and passion for music with the ones they love! Besides using the risers for concerts and our theater production, our school will be able to transport and use these risers when we travel and perform within our community. All of my students faces will be visible when we perform at the local Winter and Spring Festivals and visit the elderly at retirement centers. Visiting the community and elderly is a great learning experience for our students too. The students realize that their simple act of sharing music through song has put a smile on a new face or made the day of a stranger.
