The 3D magic pens already will have a use in the multiple classes I teach. In computers, this will be the introductory to 3D drawing and will be used in conjunction with their 3D drawing unit. In my Advanced Computers class, students will be able to draw the inputs, processing, and outputs examples as well as use it with their creations for computer programming. Giving students the opportunity to create 3D objects will teach them engineering, collaboration, and the design process. All of these skills are important for students to be successful in today's world. I will be able to cross-curricular teach with elementary teachers in science and math. Students can learn the life cycle in science and create an example with the 3D pen in their makerspace class. In math, students can learn geometric figures and create them in the makerspace. There are endless ways to bring these 3D pens into the curriculum as well as fusing together core content in other classes.
