I have 25 third graders that are extremely bright and sweet souls. There is something about read-aloud time that my students simply love. As soon as a book is finished, the kids are all asking if they can have the book next. Before you know it, there is a list of 10 kids wanting to read the book. Since the kids are all at varying levels of reading ability and some are English language learners, it would be great to have them take the book and have it reread to them while they followed along! This would help with fluency and vocabulary.
