Students come first. In order for students to be successful in the 21st century they will need laptops. With a test-hungry society, students need the tools to be successful. Having laptops in the classroom provides an endless amount of opportunities to utilize technology. The following reasons are just a few benefits that students will receive by having laptops in the classroom: - I will implement project/problem-based learning in my classroom. In order to implement this, I will need access to computers. Studies have proven in project/problem-based learning classrooms, students have better comprehension and achieve higher test scores. - I can immediately check for comprehension after a lesson is taught. This will allow me to guide my instruction. - I will be able to utilize programs that allow a creative way to implement and enforce classroom management. - In a society where touch-screen is king, students need the appropriate typing skills.
