I have 17 very active and eager second-grade students. They enter the school with smiles and enthusiasm each day. Our Title I school meets the needs of nearly 300 students and their families. These students are culturally and economically diverse ,but our vision remains the same for each child. We are creating educated, responsible citizens for the future. I want an inviting classroom that fosters learning and relationships by meeting a very basic need of comfort and warmth. My students will be grateful for colorful carpeting to aid in their learning endeavors. I want my students to feel proud of their classroom while I ensure their basic needs are being met.
