Everyone works best when they are comfortable. When I work or want to get things done I like to be on the couch. My students are the same. The new seating will provide the students an alternative to the hard desks. The new seating will allow students to choose where they are comfortable and what will make them learn best. The biggest issue most of my students have is staying in their seat and staying engaged in learning. The new seating will allow them to bounce and move. They spend so much time during the day learning at school, why not make them comfortable. The wobble chairs will allow students to stay supported and comfortable while they wiggle, which will allow them to stay focused. The beanbag will allow those students that are avid readers to really get comfortable while they are reading their chapter books. The balance ball are for my more energetic students would need to be constantly moving. The controlled bounce will allow them to focus and be engage while still moving. The laptop desks will allow the students to continue to work while using the flexible seating. I want my students to want to come to school and love learning.
