Our school is a Title 1 school, where 99% of our students receive free and or reduced lunch and free breakfast. As an educator here I have committed myself to help these students who may not have all of their basic needs met, we are in a depressed urban area and my students lives at home are not easy. Their parents struggle to pay their bills, put food on the table, and many receive aid from the state as well. These students look forward to coming to their classroom where they feel safe, learn interesting things, and can be kids. It is a haven where they can grow their minds and have hope for the future. My students are amazing and do their very best daily despite what their circumstances may be! They deserve the best education and technology possible as they are our future leaders!

About my class
