First graders should LOVE to read! However, sometimes young readers become discouraged with the challenges that come along with LEARNING how to read. Creating a bookworm nook in my classroom will help get my first graders excited and motivated about learning how to read! Students will love spending time in this quiet nook that is dedicated to reading. This couch is perfect for that area. It holds multiple students and cleans easily. The bean bag chair also creates more seating where students can curl up with a good book and read! Students will feel more comfortable learning how to read in this laid back environment. Reading should be fun and exciting! What is more fun than having a bookworm nook in your classroom?
