I plan to use the books and Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase materials to enhance Distance Learning for those students who will not in school and for in class instruction for students who are able to be in school. I am expecting a mix of both this year as our school district firms up the plans for opening our schools in the coming weeks. Having the opportunity for students to be able to access this important topic of Race, Diversity, and Social Justice both in and out of school will give all of my students an equitable education. I will video the stories for online posting as necessary as there are expected to be some students who will not be able to access our classroom. I will use this platform as conversation starters for our class to be able to discuss these important topics. Finally, I will purchase sensitive learning activities from Teachers Pay Teachers to support our classroom topics of discussion. I will be looking to purchase digitally compatible activities for our online students.
