Most of the students are struggling readers. Creating space, providing interesting books and an attractive comfortable reading area will make a difference. It is my heart's desire to give them a room they love to come into every day that is filled with the supplies we need. Our learning blocks are long (100 minutes) so the atmosphere of the space is very important, especially for kids their ages. I pour my heart and world into these kids every single day. I want my classroom to be a safe, happy space where they feel welcomed. Where relationships are fostered and they know their teacher cares.

About my class
