Pencils, paper, spiral notebooks, crayons... these are a few of the essential materials that we use in third grade. The materials on my list can be used by my students both in the classroom as well as at home for all of their learning needs. COVID-19 hit everyone across the world hard—including my students and their families. I would like to make sure I have extra supplies within my classroom for students whose families might not be able to afford school supplies. I have also asked for filing folders, a printer, and file hangers so that I can organize my students' work and learning both at home and in my classroom for both face to face teaching as well as virtual teaching. It is my goal to help my students focus on their learning instead of the stress of not having the supplies that they need.
