I am an art teacher in a high-need, high-poverty area. My school is small but with the most wonderful kids. I teach all the children in the school (grades K-2) Art once a week. I have served as Teacher of the Year at my school for the 2011-2012 school year and for the 2016-2017 school year. I am proud, honored, and determined more than ever to make my Art Program the best possible. My students deserve nothing less, as all children do. I plan to use all my possible resources to improve my Art curriculum and make it meaningful for all my students. Please consider helping me give my students the best possible experience so I can allow them to experiment with fun and exciting hands on materials in my classroom.
