I teach a group of first grade learners who are curious, active and kind. My students range from emerging to above grade level. It is vital to provide the best research-based components of academic and social learning, coupled with interventions and extensions to meet students where they are and to foster growth. But it is equally important to build a community of caring and love, where each learner truly feels welcome. We work together to achieve that!

About my class
