An updated iPad will help my students' learning take off! We will be able to use this device to run Google Expeditions-allowing students to use Google Cardboard to explore various areas of the world we study about in social studies, read about in informational texts (both independently as well as during guided reading), and during research for writing. Having a case and protection plan will help us protect the device for years of use. Students will be able to take virtual trips under the sea, soar to space, explore historical journeys, interact virtually with animals to discover their habitats, investigate land forms around the world, and so much more! This iPad will also allow us to have an additional tool for research-based learning programs, researching topics for projects, and to use with our OSMO to improve math fluency, improve knowledge of word study patterns, enhance students' reading fluency and comprehension, and increase students' knowledge of coding.
