I teach 100+ 7th and 8th grade science students in a small rural school district in Oklahoma. Over half of my students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Many of my students have never had the opportunity to travel outside of our small county, much less the state of Oklahoma. We strive to provide our students with just as many opportunities and experiences as their colleagues in larger school districts despite our size! Walters may be small, but we have a big heart!

About my class
