I would like to provide enough drums for all my students to have the opportunity to play on the drums. I would also use these drums in a before-school drumming club. We will have chants that we put on drum, as well as play games with the drums. It's all about engaging the students with instruments and the beat! I would like to reach my objective of having every student master the concept of BEAT! This is quickly and enjoyably done with drums. We do have SOME drums in my classroom, but we don't have enough for every child in a class. Some of my classes are rather large, and it would be so helpful to have enough for everyone.
