My students are a diverse group of elementary students in South Los Angeles. They are living in a high poverty neighborhood and some are faced with many challenges due to the complex problems within their families. My students are great bunch of kids who are very appreciative of all they receive and are excited about coming to school. Our school has a friendly atmosphere and has only been open for two years. Our students work hard and try their best at all times. These kids do not have much and it would be great for them to be able to receive some incentives to help encourage them to be in school daily.
