Thank you for popping by! I am a 5th grade teacher at a wonderful IB (International Baccalaureate) school in Colorado! I am passionate about providing students with opportunities to fall in love with reading while learning about our world. As an IB school we try to make as much of the learning transdisciplinary which means inquiries are investigated throughout the day instead of just during a specific subject time. So for example during our planner about the American Revolution the students will not just learn about this time in history during a Social Studies block but instead read, write and do inquiries about it throughout the entire day. This is exciting as their learning becomes more deep and meaningful!
