I would like to purchase over-ear headphones for my class. Earphones that will connect to a laptop will allow my students to listen to materials, both video, music, and books, to help with comprehension. In many units, we compare texts to other forms of media such as videos, music, and art. These earphones would be especially helpful to allow students to work at their own pace, allowing them to listen to a selection multiple times, if needed. If a student was absent, this would assist them with making up work. Earphones would help students be able to work at their own pace, allowing them to listen to a selection multiple times, if needed. Having headphones would also assist ESL students with language acquisition.
