This summer, our school has replaced the classrooms’ carpeting with tile. While this is a great change that is easier to clean and maintain and is better for allergies, it is not the most welcoming, or comfortable environment for the students. The inflatable wobble cushions and padded soft seats are lightweight and will be easy for the students to carry. The students can use the flexible seating to sit throughout the classroom to complete assignments, play math games, and my favorite, to read! A warm, comfortable, and inviting classroom helps foster great learning by allowing the students to feel relaxed and have a sense of belonging. It is important to me to make my classroom feel like a home away from home. By donating to this project you will help make it possible for my students to continue to comfortably utilize the classroom space during activities, despite the cold and less forgiving tile floor.
