Coral Academy of Science Middle School Lego Robotics Club is made up of a team of 10 students and two mentors. Last year we won the Northern Nevada First Lego League's Innovation Award and given the chance to submit our project for the International Innovators Competition which consists of students from 36 countries. We received a congratulatory letter from Senator Dean Heller's Office and a article in the Walker Lake Working Group New Letter. The students worked hard to raise awareness of the loss of water to Walker Lake and challenged themselves to find a way to replenish the water by designing a "water catcher" that would collect condensation and funnel it back into the lake.
