With this project, students will have access to adequate cleaning materials, ensuring they can do a good job preparing their space for the next class. Currently, students are using hand-me-down towels and washcloths with holes in them, potholders and oven mitts that are too thin so they get burned, and we've got one broom to share between the whole class. With our new supplies, students can do their dishes well with new towels, washcloths, and scrub brushes, stay safe while taking hot food from the oven with their oven mitts and potholders, avoid pest issues while sweeping with their new brooms, and store it all on a nice shelf that won't scrape them when they use it. By providing adequate cleaning supplies, students will understand the importance of taking care of their space. All of these items are stored on a shelf that has metal wires obstructing their ability to get what they need, and we've had several cuts and scrapes happen as a result of this shelf. It will be so nice having a great place to store all of these items. Thank you for your support!
