The addition of Spanish readers will assist our students to have a variety of choices for free voluntary reading. By allowing the students the opportunity to choose their favorite topics, they are more inclined to enjoy and practice their language skills. I have chosen proficiency based tpr readers which will allow me to level them based on the number of words in the book and the tenses in which they have been written. Studies have shown, a book must be 85% comprehensible for the students for the vocabulary and story to be unforgettable. They are going to have a blast with these books!
