I work in a high poverty area and have been here for the past 18 years. Many of my students lack some of the parental help they need due to language barriers. They are a loving bunch of students that like to build character and speaking skills throughout the day. Each one of my students are hard working and want to please everyone all of the time. There is never a dull moment in my classroom! My students can't wait to come to school on Mondays and are sad on Fridays! I believe if school was open, I would have a full class on the weekends.
