My students are the stars of the classroom. They are the light that makes our classroom shine. Our typical day begins by greeting them and making them feel welcome to the place that they will spend a great part of their day. Every morning varies with a variety of learning activities. My personal goal for my students is to inspire them to become responsible learners. By the end of the school year, I expect them to adopt the ability to develop a passion for learning as they explore their world. My school is a place where I feel supported and motivated by colleagues, other staff members and my supervisors. We all work together to bring out the best in our children. The second grade team is a wonderful team; we work together to develop the best lessons that will meet the need of our children population. This is the place where I have gained my experience, the last 9 years as an assistant teacher and this year I made the transition to teaching. I love this school and my students.
