This project will allow my students to access innovative technological applications to enhance their learning in all subject areas. My students have a variety of disabilities and benefit from a multi-sensory approach to learning in all subjects. I'm requesting Fire tablets with protective cases and protection plans. Students will have access to many applications on the tablets that make learning interesting, engaging, and fun. With these tablets we'll create audiobooks for students, go on interactive scavenger hunts, and utilize sites like Kahoot for interactive independent practice. Additionally, our students can explore their self interests by using different apps that correlate with their preferences. For example, I have one student who loves everything music. He aspires to be a music producer one day. Having a tablet means he can explore music software like GarageBand, Omni TR, and Sector. These apps will immerse him in interactive song writing with the touch of his finger. With these FIre tablets the opportunities are endless.
