Thank you for coming to visit! I am a special education teacher in a classroom for students with autism! My students need support in the Common Core State Standards. They also are working on gaining social skills so that they are able to spend time with their grade level peers. They are smart, funny, and lovable and want to be included in the whole school experience! Each of my students have difficulty communicating effectively with peers and adults. They need to be taught the social skills necessary to become adults that can live on their own, have a job, and grow into adults that are included in our society. I am so proud to be their teacher and have the honor to teach them, learn with them, and discover their strengths and hone their skills.
