With Kindle Fires students will be able to choose books and magazines on their level. They will be able to record themselves reading to hear their own fluency. They could even summarize a story for their friend to listen to! Kindles aren't only great for reading books. With the Kindles, the students would have access to several learning apps that focus on math and literacy skills. Please consider donating to this project to put technology into the hands of these bright first graders. We currently have 3 desktop computers in our classroom. A donation to this project would allow these awesome students more access to technology in such a tech driven world! Plus, this will give them one more reason to love coming to school each day!
