Being a student today is not as easy or fun as it was when I was growing up.As the school counselor, I am charged with the amazing task of implementing curriculum with every student in my school. The entire school is literally my classroom! With resources such as the outdoor movie screen, the popcorn machine, and supplies, I can offer lessons both inside and outside of the classroom, all of which will definitely be out of the box. The resources will be used as tools to guide lessons on character education which may come in the form of a PowerPoint and may be accompanied by a night under the stars with a movie to tie it all together. Creating a learning environment not only for my students, but their parents too!
